The Word Church is a results-based, truth and solution-seeking ministry built on the word of God. At The Word Church you will learn how to apply the word of God to your life so you can live a life a victory. Bishop Tull has a unique way or rightly dividing the word of God in a way everyone can understand it.
We believe the Bible to be inspired and the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God; eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in the blessed hope of His personal, visible future return to this earth to receive to Himself His Blood-bought Church, that it may be with Him forever.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for one's personal salvation.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We believe that the baptism with the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, with evidence of speaking in other tongues, is given to Believers who ask for it.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ and observance of the Lord’s Supper.
The purpose of The Word Church is to bring glory to God by edifying and equipping Saints through Bible-centered preaching and teaching. Seek God’s presence through praise, worship, righteousness and holiness, by evangelizing to the lost, and by dwelling together in a multi-cultural worship center experience that is warm Christian fellowship.
- Equipping the Saints through Bible-centered preaching and teaching: Discipleship is the process by which we grow into Christ. Matthew 28:20.
- Worshipping the Lord in righteousness and holiness.
Public worship is the reverent expression of our love and adoration for God. God is glorified by us when we acknowledge that He is glorious, and He is most glorified when this acknowledgement is public. “The worship of the living and true God is essentially an engagement with Him on the terms that he proposes and in the way that he alone makes possible.” Matthew 22:37
- Jesus said unto him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”
- The mutual relationship of care, support and encouragement we have as a result of our common belief in Christ and membership in this church. Acts 2:42
